“The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded”, when logging on to Windows 7 or Windows Vista

Tadi pagi seperti biasa dikantor,  menyalakan laptop, sambil ngeteh

Pas login masuk ke halaman windows, heran juga koq tampilan windows seven jadi kyk windows 98 gini (kyk safe mode :d). Akhirnya saya restart. Tapi, ketika mau login kembali, ada pesan error :

“The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded”

Kaget juga, padahal kemaren masih baik-baik saja dipake nonton “Remember  Me” yang dengan sukses mebuat tertidur hanya dgn nonton setangah jam pertama, emg pada dasarnya kurang suka sama film2 drama :p oops, oot..we’re not talking about it right now..

Setelah googling sebentar akhirnya nemu juga cara untuk memperbaikinya, (diambil dari sumber aslinya http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215). Sebenarnya ada beberapa cara untuk memperbaikinya, salah satunya yang seperti saya gunakan.

Penyebab

Hal ini dapat terjadi karena user profile dihapus secara manual dengan menggunakan command prompt atau dengan menggunakan Windows Explorer. Profile yang dihapus secara manual tidak menghilangkan security indetifier-nya (SID) yang terdapat pada profile list didalam registry Windows.

Jika SID ini masih ada, Windows akan me-load profile dengan mengguanakan ProfileImagePath yang mengarah pada path yang tidak ada. Oleh kareana itu, profile/user Anda tidak dapat di-load

Solusi

Ada beberapa cara untuk memperbaikinya, salah satunya seperti yg akan saya bahas berikut, tetapi harap baca baik-baik sblum melakukannya yaah :
